Purpose

A soy isoflavone product that may reduce severe and frequent menopausal symptoms (such as hot flashes and/or night sweets) in menopausal or post-menopausal women.

Each Capsule Contains

200 mg of the extract contains 50 mg of soy isoflavone aglycone equivalents or 80 mg of soy isoflavones (aglycones plus the glycoside derivatives).

The soy isoflavone aglycones are:

• Genistein equivalents: 27.7 mg
• Daidzein equivalents: 17.2 mg
• Glycitein equivalents: 5.1 mg

Encapsulated in vegetable capsules

Recommended Dosage for Adult

Preparations containing equivalent to 75-125 mg aglycone isoflavone equivalents (AIE), from geinstein/genistin compounds per day.

Recommended Use: One capsule per time, twice per day and preferably with a meal.

Direction for use: Take a few hours before or after taking medications or health care products.

Duration(s) of use: Use for a minimum of 2 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond one year.

Cautions and Warnings

• Ensure you are up-up-to date on mammograms and gynaecological evaluations prior to use.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a history of hormonal or gynaecological diseases, including ovarian endometriosis, and or uterine fibroids.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or develop liver-related symptoms (e.g. abdominal pain, jaundice, dark urine).
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRP) including thyroid hormone replacement therapy.
• Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, or if you experience a recurrence of menstruation and/or uterine spotting.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use if allergic to soy.

Contra-indications

Do not use if you currently have or previously had breast cancer and/or breast tumours or if you have a predisposition to breast cancer, as indicated by an abnormal mammogram and/or biopsy, or a family member with breast cancer.
